Configuring for multiple users on the same device

Any suggestions on the best way to configure TouchDesigner for a multi-user computer?

I am trying to get TouchDesigner to work on a University computer that will require any student to be able to use this application.

I have made an account and attempted to create a key but there seems to be an error when I try to do so. The error message is as followed:

“Permission denied /Library/Application Support/ca.derivative/ins2.dat ab
There was a problem installing your key due to file permissions. Please make sure you can read and write to ‘/Library/Application Support/ca.derivative’.
In an Administrator account, open Terminal and type the command… After changing these settings, try to install your key again in Key Manager”

Even though we have verified that the permissions on the files are indeed correct and don’t need to be altered, so we are confused as to why this error message is appearing when we try to create a key.

The application only works when we use the local admin account, but not when we try to use it with a student’s account.

Any help/suggestions would be much appreciated!
