I am trying to connect several webcams in my school to several computers that run touchdesigner. one computer work smoothly. But on all other computers, with the same camera, when in DirectShow driver, the camera is blinking on and off, there is also a blinking red x on videodevicein (comes on and off) and doesn’t show an image, and on mediaFoundation the camera is on but there is no image. Help! i restated the computer, disabled\enabled the camera and nothing worked, any hint anybody?

Could you share some details:
- can you use the video cameras on those machines with other software
- what is the error message on the Video Device In TOP
- what version of TouchDesigner are you using
- what windows version is installed
- are all drivers up to date on the computers
- can you switch the video camera to see if it is working on other machines
