Connecting MQTT DAT to broker HELP

Hello,

I am working on a project in TouchDesigner in which I am connecting to HiveMQ broker. I am getting data from SensorLogger app which connects to HiveMQ broker which works fine, but I am having trouble connecting HiveMQ to TouchDesigner.
Here is the information of the HiveMQ cluster I have set up.
The URL is fa047f6ad95345ffb602596be6ef4563.s1.eu.hivemq.cloud:8883

In TouchDesigner, I have been putting in the URL, username and password (omitted in screenshot) exactly as it is in HiveMQ but everytime I click connect, nothing happens in the MQTT client DAT window.

Please provide any suggestions, resources, and help on how I can resolve this issue, thank you so much!!

Hi @swaraich,

Can you see via a Info CHOP if the MQTT operator was successful in connecting?

usually the url specified in the Network Address parameter requires a uri of these supported ones: tcp, ssl, ws, wss Also see TouchDesigner Documentation

Thank you! I was able to get it to work and connect by adding ssl in front of the url!
