We came across a bug in last touchdesigner updates (in various files)
When we do a reference from a chop to a container custom parameter, the parameter pastes, but the value does not update.

We use version 2025.32050 (MAC M2 max Sequioa 15.7.4)
Someone knows a solution to solve it?

I couldn’t replicate in the latest version. Can you try it with the latest TouchDesigner from the website? If it still doesn’t work, let me know how you’re controlling the value in your video. I used the virtual UI in your project, not a MIDI device…

We were doing it while presenting something in a workshop, most participants were working with the last version and they had the same problem.
The value is controlled from a midi controller, but we also had the same problem with CHOP noises controlling parameters in custom camera containers.

Hey Michel,
On both case it was on custom containers. On the example I sent it’s a tox with various stuff inside, just a control for FX.
And before we had it with custom containers with camera comp inside them - and it was doing the same thing.

Can you confirm if you can reproduce in 2025.32460 ?

I tested on both Windows 11 and MacOS (Sequioa 15.7.4) and I’m unable to reproduce at the moment.
Can you confirm that you tried to reproduce with that exact same file you shared?
