Copying and pasting networks between files

sometimes I want to take a group of say 15 nodes in one of my .toe files and paste them into another .toe, and sometimes this work, sometimes it doesnt, sometimes it just copies 1, its confusing, whats the best way to do that? thank you

  • if your mouse is on a node and you do copy, it copies only that node.
  • If you select multiple nodes and your mouse is not over a node and you do a copy, then it copies all selected nodes.

Wow … That’s how that works? I have for years wondered why sometimes copy gets the node(s) I wanted and other times it gets something else entirely…

Are there any other secrets and quirks about copy/paste like that @nettoyeur ? I’ll have to see if that clears of the really intermittent results I always have.
