I have dropped a video file that displays a rotating knob.
The video file has 128 frames.
And the resolution is 128 x 128 pixels.
I want to control the video, with the mouse position.
How do I make the video move to any frame with the mouse?
In other words how do I use the mouse position to control the frames?
Thanks, anyone?
Thanks for that Jacques.
It works, but it takes the whole screen as mouse input.
I need it to work only when I manipulate the image of the knob, on the screen of the knob movie.
And only when I click on it.
And it should not go beyond frame 0 and frame 127.
I have successfully changed the X coordinate to the Y.
Isn’t there a UI Widget where I can just change the “skin” graphics to my graphics?
Thanks again.
Another version with panel, limited to the container, vertical movement and only when you click.
Its not the frame number but the % but you can change it.

Thanks for that.
Works great.
I will study how you did that.
I am sending you the knob video, just in case.
please change the file extension to .rar!!!

Have you guys thought about giving your customers a number of custom UI elements like physically realistic looking knobs, sliders, buttons. etc.
Because that is what I was looking for.
I am an expert in SolidWorks.
I can make anything you like.
And do photo realistic renderings of them in any picture or video file-format.
Could you please point me to a tutorial or YouTube video, for creating a stand alone Windows Application?
I have looked everywhere and all I see is video effects tutorials.
Thanks
