Attempting to create a ‘trail’ or ‘echo’ effect using video from a webcam.
For an example of the type of effect I had in kind, have a look at the classic ‘Pas de Deux’ by Norman Maclaren

Are there any TD video experts that might have an idea how such an effect might be achieved?
Hey,
the technique is refered to as Step and Repeat and I believe it should be done using a Cache TOP and multiple Cache Select TOPs.
Initially you drive all Cache Select TOPs with the same index and then pause the index for one of them. At some point you pause the index of a different Cache Select and let the previously pause Cache Select catch up.
The attached file is a basic version of this idea.
