I’m on Silicon MacOS build, I tried with the stock download and the Experimental newer version. The UI opens but the button “Start Course” does nothing.
@raganmd ?
Thanks for the report.
I’ll test with the latest build and see if I can reproduce.
@maxpleaner after doing some exploring I’m able to reproduce this issue.
Working on a fix, and will follow-up once it’s back up and working.
There is currently a fix pushed for this - though it looks like it may only work on Windows.
@maxpleaner - you’ll need to download the TOE or TOX file again to get the updated version.
I can confirm that this works as expected on Windows, but it does seem like there are some inconsistencies on MacOS. The navigator is built on top of the WebBrowser COMP in the palette, which is currently limited to windows.
The
webBrowser
component in the palette is an interactive interface to the Web Render TOP. It is currently available on Windows only, in the Commercial, Educational and Pro versions of TouchDesigner.
That being said, the contents of the curriculum are available in any browser, and the examples are all available for download.
You can download all of the examples found in each topic in a single zip folder:
Or you can download a TOX of only the example you’re looking at in a given lesson from the topic page from the button under the topic overview text:
