Hey guys,
I’m using 2023 and having an issue when renaming the ‘Parameter’ section of Custom Parameters where the name is only set to the type of Parameter that is added.
For example, when adding a ‘Float’ Parameter, I can rename the label to whatever I want, but cannot rename the Parameter reference from ‘float’ to anything else.
Hope that makes sense!
What build number are you on?
You should be able to change the name by either double-clicking the name in the list, or by entering text in the “parameter” text entry field below. If you can’t, please save and attach a file with the unchangeable parameter!
This is happening to me as well. Sometimes the Component Editor window is completely blank, too. Wish I had grabbed a screenshot 
Will share any further strange behaviors to this conversation, but confirming that Custom Pars have a LOT of odd quirks in build 2023:11290.
Oh dear. What OS are you guys using? Definitely need cases that I can reproduce… it’s been working fine for me!

Update: I found the rename bug. Will be fixed in next release.
The blank component editor I did not find, but there were apparently some panel refresh bugs that were fixed, so maybe also will be better in next release. Keep the reports coming and please check the textport for errors if you see the blank comp editor.
