Custom parameters when collapsing few nodes together

I want to make a base comp which have a parameters from the nodes inside of him in the parameters of the comp itself.
for example I will have a switch top inside the base comp and I want to have the parameter in the base comp parameters
how can I do that ? thanks !

  1. RMB and “Customize Component…” your baseCOMP to open the Comp Editor.
  2. Drag a parameter (grabbing its name in the par dialog) from your inner OP to the “Parameters” area of Comp Editor.
  3. Choose “Bind New Par as Master” from the menu that pops up.

I think there was an RFE a while ago about Rightclick on a parameter with “Expose to Parent” to do that with fewer clicks. Just remembered this reading the process :slight_smile:
