deforming character not with MAT insteed with deformSop

hi community
im trying quite a long time to get my character deformed in the SOP space and not when rendering via the deform in the phong shader.
when reading the docs about deforming geometrie the is the line:

Deforming on the CPU
To deform on the CPU simply use the Deform SOP. You’ll need to specify the path to the skeleton in the Skeleton Root Path parameter.

but when i connect my character to defomSop and put the path in “Skeleton Root Path” nothing happens, i have always the yellow warning on the deformSOP: no capture attributes exist.

what am i doing wrong?

Here’s an updated file working. You do not need the extra nodes to setup bonegroups. Be careful with all the Tscript nodes in there, if you append new nodes they take on the Tscript language setting.
