Delay CHOP Causing crackling in audio

I am using version 2025.32460 and Blackmagic Driver 16.1 with a Decklink 2 card.

I bring in SDI video and audio and use a cache TOP and delay CHOP to synchronize the video and audio perfectly for broadcast.

I recently noticed that when I add any delay between 0.002 seconds and 1 second to the audio using the Delay CHOP, the audio starts to crackle.

do you have an example .toe file or is this only happening when running audio over the network?
