How can I tell touch designer to stop auto-sorting my chop exports? If I drag RESW in the first input field of my FIT node, then it gets swapped because of auto-sorting.
Is there a setting to disable that? Or is it possible to actually export one by one, instead of it being auto-populated?
This is extremly anoying …
You’ll have to explain how you are interacting with it, or a video of your actions might help. Perhaps you are dropping it on an unexpected location?
There is no ‘auto-sorting’, you can drag 1 channel to any 1 individual channel by dropping it on the specific parameter field you want it to go to.
If you are changing the order of the channels in your CHOP, or adding new channels, you can switch the CHOP’s ‘Export Method’ to DAT Table by Name and it will match exports my name rather than the default by index. With this ‘by Name’ setting the order of the channels in the CHOP will not affect their export destination.
