I’ve done a bunch of google and forum searches for this, and can’t find the answer - have also trawled the preferences, but can’t see to work this out:
How do I disable the automatic patching of nodes when I copy and paste? i.e. so TD doesn’t automatically try to make connections between what I am pasting and the existing nodes. I find more often than not it becomes a confusing mess when this happens.

If you’re copying from an already connected node, I don’t believe there’s a way to not have this happen outside of cutting and pasting (which I assume you don’t want to do). I assume this feature is supposed to be for convenience but I understand not wanting it all the time.
Hi - thanks for your reply. It’s probably my slightly dodgy workflow etc as well, but I think I might add this to the wishlist forum and see what the devs think of it.
