It seems not to be possible to stop a User from Introducing a newline into a fieldCOMP via Shift + Enter which is not hard to involuntarily do.
Sadly some of the Widgets seem to have a pretty hefty problem with newlines, introducing lots of noise.

Allow Multi-Line toggle (default=on) for Field COMP will be in the next release. Enjoy!
