displays swapped in touch

Hey,

on my laptop (win7), the laptop-display is listed in windows as display1, the external LCD as display 2. All other apps work as expected, but touch thinks the laptop-display is the second monitor (all driver options are set correctly). In the window placement options I need to set designer mode to “right half” to get the UI on the main laptop display. But when I then enable 2nd monitor output, it get’s put on that display as well and I can’t exit it.

Tried reinstalling, but it didn’t help. Any ideas?

Haven’t seen that issue on any of the Windows 7 machines we’ve setup. Did you reinstall Touch or the drivers? I would try uinstalling the drivers and reinstalling them as my first step. Install them without the second monitor attached.

I had this exact same problem, couldn’t seem to get anything to work with display settings in window placement, tried re-installing Touch and Nvidia, which didn’t help.

What worked for me was to just drag the Touch UI display onto my main laptop display, quit out of Touch and then launch again. Has worked perfectly since.

It worked fine when I connected a projector instead of the LCD. Gotta reconnect the LCD to see what happens now. I’ll also give your tip it a try. thx
