I am sending sACN from another device on the network. The machine running TouchDesigner can see sACN when I use sACNview - so I have verified that I have good sACN running on the network.
The DMX in chop has areas for Net and Subnet which do not make sense to me for sACN.
I have these both at 0.
I have my universe set at 1 - which is the Universe that I am sending on.
The Local Address field is set to the ethernet adapter that should be receiving sACN (it does receive in sACN view with this adapter).
Start Codes are set to 0. Multicast is On.

I’m not understanding what I am missing here… How can I see sACN? How can I send sACN?
- could you let us know what version and build of TouchDesigner you are using?
- are you able to receive sACN when opening a second instance of TouchDesigner and sending a channel out via the DMX Out CHOP?
- is there a possibility that a firewall is blocking TouchDesigner from receiving UDP traffic?

Re-installing touchdesigner led me to see sACN from “sACNview” from another computer on the network. I was unable to see any settings in Windows that would have kept TD from accessing the network. Regardless - I chose to reinstall, made positive that any Windows prompts for firewall were checked appropriately during setup, and immediately saw data coming in!
I feel this was Windows… Thanks for your response. Greatly appreciate you.

Format: Packet per Sample (Timesliced)
Rate: 30
Net: 0
Subnet: 0
Universe: (Your choice.)
Local Address: (IP Address of local Interface that your TouchDesigner Computer is using to listen on.)
Discard Broadcast Packets: Off
Start Code: 0
Queue Size: 5
Any params not listed were still left at default.
