I wondered if Touch Designer could be used to develop an automatic projector calibration solution for multiple projectors through a calibrating camera with fisheye lens? Anyone with any experience of this?
Im moving from a single dome fisheye projection system with a custom mesh warping fisheye frames in realtime in TD. This is adequate for a single projector yet this process, with multiple units whose mounting positions will invariably change, will be impractical.
The Eye Vapor guys have built their own completely custom multi-projector dome alignment rig with TouchDesigner. These guys know their domes and their TouchDesigner
