DVI Mixer

I just heard about a DVI Mixer that does nothing else but mix DVI and has a super small form factor plus a affordable price tag in comparison to bigger solutions.

Have a look:

Simply amazing…

Yeah, I’ve been on Toby’s ‘expression of interest’ list for over a year, and still haven’t heard anything…

As he explains, the nice looking ad at the top is just for fun. he’s just intending to get the design out there and try to get a latge enough community behind it to be able to get the suppliers to tweak the firmware for the DSP chip so it is more specifically suited to VJs’ needs.

It seems he’s still going with this. Here’s toby’s blog entries about th emixer so far…

including a new prototype unveiled last month (June2010) that looks like it’s getting serious.

Has anyone seen similar products out there?

http://www.alibaba.com might yield to a search but I have not done so yet. It’s where I go to find weird stuff like folding bluetooth keyboards etc.

Sadly, no D-Fuser update but I did find a new device to mix DVI inputs.

Another product from TV One, but this beauty lists for $995 (not too far from my old V4)

Check out this video of free software iMixHD making the connection.

This is good news.

You can find one online (US) for around $800, iMixHD is a great solution for Touch users who’s looking to mix their HD outputs.

I’m slowly stepping into TouchDesigner world

Hi,

regarding the tvone scaler- it mentions the possibility of ‘mixing’ inputs. Can anyone comment on what this actually means? I read in the description it can do clean ‘hard cuts’ from dvi-A to B, but I’m not convinced that this device is capable of dissolving from source A to B. its not clear to me what they mean by ‘mixing’

thks
