downloaded the latest experimental and finally found time to start looking at the TUIK doc,
which says:
In the Browser, select the Palette tab. If the palette browser is not already being displayed, open the Palette by either choosing it from Dialogs->Palette or unstowing it by clicking on the tiny left stowbar of the TouchDesigner window
I guess that means the Palette Browsers… menu entry in the dialog box. Anyway I open that window, I see the palette tab, but no contents.
the textport gives me an error message:
/ui/dialogs/palette/palette/setup (Line 4 - click folder/palette): No panel components match path: folder/palette
touch →
/ui/dialogs/palette/palette/load_palette (Line 2 - run $palette/p3/root/getVolumes): Cannot find /ui/dialogs/palette/palette/p3/root/getVolumes
/ui/dialogs/palette/palette/load_palette (Line 7 - opwire -o out1 $palette -0 hook): opwire error: source node not found.
/ui/dialogs/palette/palette/load_palette (Line 8 - run $palette/loadicons): Cannot find /loadicons

/ui/dialogs/palette/palette/setup (Line 4 - click folder/palette): No panel components match path: folder/palette
Anything I’m doing wrong? It seems to work in a new touch file, but not in the one I need it in, which I had last modified with the latest touch around Nov.
I’ll send the touch file separately.
