Engine COMP and Audio Device Out TD.2025

I had a patch working fine in Windows, and 2023 which had Audio Device Out inside a Engine COMP to not be bothered by frames drop.
Tried to reuse it today in 2025 and it’s not workinf anymore, tried to do a very small setup to be sure with only a audio device out inside the tox, loaded in engine in 2023 and 2025, working fine in the first, not working at all in 2025 with this warning

Does changing the Engine COMP’s Clock parameter (on the Tune page) to Internal fix it?

warning disapear but no sound is outputing, if i try to bind device or driver to parent custom parameters it doesn’t refresh list when in engine either

Thanks - it does look like an issue with menus updating has appeared in 2025 builds. We’ll take a look.

This would stop it working if it’s selecting a non-existent or empty device - does it work if you save a .tox with a fixed device selected (and no menus bound to the parent)?

Hi all

I’m having a similar issue, what was working in the 2023 versions has stopped in the 2025 version.

Setup is an AudioFileIn directly to an AudioDeviceOut with all pars at default.

Saved as tox and loaded into ENGINE comp

Works in 2023.12370 - both in synced and independent

not in 2025.30770, 2025.31550, 2025.31760, 2025.32050 with any setting I have tried.

Any help appeciated

Thanks

Hi @avd - there does seem to be an issue with a simple Audio Device In to Out in TouchEngine - we’re taking a look here. Thanks for the report.

An issue which prevented the Audio Device In and Out CHOPs working in TouchEngine will be fixed in the next build.

There’s a separate issue with custom parameters with menu sources updating. This is still being looked at.
