Freestyler as an example detect an works ok, recognize the device as
ENTTEC OPEN DMX
CLASSIC 8E
Work like a charm, not work on touchdesigner.
Some idea why?
Should work as enttec generic serial?
This enttec device work with touchdesigner?

OPEN DMX interfaces cost less of 50U$ in any place around the world.
Why the TD team just not order one for test and add support this common and affordable interfaces?
Just let me know, I order one and send for free to TD developer team…
Pretty sure it is not about the cost of the device but the time for the developers.
You can always check in with them directly and buy PRO-Hours to get that feature included with a priority.
Yes I know, I just kdding.
But what I dont know is exist payed support.
Anyway I think should support more DMX devices.
