i am trying to build a little project which takes a video feed over syphon and draws that image through a laser projector I have access to. I have attached the project file I have put together using a few examples I was able to find on this forum and wider web… It works… which is great! but the projected image is very intermittent. i.e it runs smoothly then blanks out for a bit… in essence the generated laser output feels and looks very intermittent.
I have been trying to find the sweet spot in terms of settings but I am just a bit lost… I am guessing it is the parameters of the LASER CHOP… I was wondering if anyone had any advice or pointers. I have tested the Etherdream DAC I am using with some other software ( Modulaser ) and the output is very smooth, so i don’t think its a hardware fault.
Also - if anyone has any advice re. a better method for converting a video input to laser output ? I am not sure if my method is the most efficient
