Hi All,

Been a while since I have played in Touch Designer. Looking to convert an audio signal and display on a laser.

I know this has been talked about before, but wondering if anyone has a sample network as I’m a bit stuck on generating the tx and ty from the audio in chop.

There’s a handful of Operator Snippets for the Laser CHOP including an audio one that I think will have what you’re looking for.

The main thing to be aware of with CHOP inputs on the Laser CHOP is that you need an “id” channel to group points together otherwise they’re drawn as individual points. If you want to draw a single curve for the audio signal then all input samples would have the same id.

You can find them under Help > Operator Snippets. From there you can navigate to the Laser CHOP snippets using the left menu. You can also go directly to the Laser CHOP snippets by selecting Operator Snippets after right-clicking a Laser CHOP in the network or the Laser CHOP option in the OP create dialog.
