This experimental update is a major one as we get very close to taking 2025 Official.
First, we have finished a fix for Intel-based Macs using POPs, and everything is working there now. Furthermore, the issue of macOS (both Intel and Apple Silicon machines) crashing when too many attributes were assigned in POPs is also fixed now. You will notice all example files and POP learning materials work properly on macOS now and are on par with Windows builds.
This release also brings a new File Out POP to save out your POP data into a number of file formats, and a new Alembic In POP to read in alembic sequences (Alembic out support coming in a future release). A new Layer Mix TOP allows for a layer-based compositing approach with adjustment controls for individual layers.
Operator Snippets now have a collection of snippets for POPs. These are early versions that will be revised and added to, but a good starting point to learn more about new POPs. Please re-download the POPs example folder, as most examples have been updated.
If you are experiencing any bugs, please report them as soon as possible to the bugs forum! We thank you in advance for your feedback and reports.
