Export Noise to a Parameter?

I am very new to Touch. Spent quite a bit of time trying to figure this out, but no luck. I’d be most grateful for some advice.

I create a Sphere SOP, then an LFO CHOP. I click the “Export” button on the LFO, then the “+” to make the LFO viewer active. I then drag and drop from the LFO into the Sphere’s first “Radius” parameter. The sphere immediately begins pulsating along the x-axis. If I try the same steps but replace the LFO CHOP with a Noise CHOP, I get this error message:

float() argument must be a string or a number, not 'td.noiseCHOP'

How can I use the Noise CHOP to control one of the Sphere’s radius parameters?

Thanks for any help!

You just want to drag and drop the channel, not the whole CHOP. Hope this helps!

Not to overstate it, but you may have just saved a life. Thanks.
