The colours of my exported videos are always a bit faded compared to the TD preview.
Is there something I miss in the export top?

Have you done an actual color comparison? It may also have to do with the file format you’re exporting too. Also try looking at the pixel format.

What color space are you working in? 32/16 bit RGB won’t fully translate to video.
“In more technical terms, an 8-bit file works with RGB using 256 levels per channel, while 10-bit jumps up to 1,024 levels per channel. This means a 10-bit image can display up to 1.07 billion colors, while an 8-bit photo can only display 16.7 million.”
And that’s just 8 to 10 bit. Comparing 8 to 16 or 32 is even bigger differences.
In the image you posted what are the sources of those images?
Have you tried exporting to an image sequence, maybe openEXR, and compare that to your “correct” color image?
I can’t change the pixel format 
I’m at 8-bit fixed RGBA
Is the video compressed? What’s the codec?
I found that it’s only because of apple’s quicktime player. It’s fine everywhere else. So nothing to do.
