Extrude trick for fractal effect

I’m trying to replicate in TD this simple C4D trick using its MoExtrude function:

The trick is to layer extrudes on each other, halving the Z position each time, to create a fractal effect. This should be possible with a series of Extrude.SOPs chained together but I’m not having any luck with translating this into the correct settings to alter in each successive SOP. Grateful for anyone’s thoughts!
