Hi - I’m working on a project where I need to do face tracking and generate geometry of the tracked face. This is all fine-ish with the current production build, altho apparently not on current NVIDIA GPUs like the 5080. Part of the project may involve POPs too, but now I’m seeing that the experimental TD 2025 builds are giving errors and there’s no .nvf face model in config/models, that plus I want to use with the RTX 5080. So….. does anybody know if updated face tracking tools are in the works maybe to be included in the POPs family, that’ll work on 50-series GPU? Or would this need to be done using TD + UE ? Or do I need to abandon the use of POPs and revert back to using TD 2023 with SOPs, and an older GPU?
In experimental release for facetracking on the 50XX cards you’ll need to download the AR SDK from nvidia seperately. See docs for experimental version:
Thank you! I had been looking at the production release help. I wish the help links in the experimental build would go to the experimental help pages.
