when importing FBX files, the resulting Mesh SOPs have got absolute pathnames instead of relative ones. (e.g., F:\projects\blahblah\Import\stuff\mystuff.tog instead of $TOUCH\Import…)

Hello, it seems like I’m having similar issues, though with a much newer build (30860). When I import an FBX file, all the OPs with linked file paths show absolute path names. This is a hassle when I need to migrate the project from computer to computer. I’ve considered writing a script for this, but that seems like a round-about solution for a seemingly straightforward concept.
Is there an option to enable relative path names on import that I may have missed?
