This sounds useful, thank you. I logged the request.
right-click in the viewer and select Display Attribute Dots → Weight. we are in the process of making attributes more visible in the viewers.
Oh I didn’t know this ! So will this process help us to get rid of the Palette POPViewer ?
We are working on incorporating the popViewer features into the built-in node viewer, but this will happen over time. If you have any feedback or comments on what features are most useful, we’d love to hear.
Hi Rob,
I will use it more to check the priorities according to me but I think it could be nice if we can display for example multiple attribute dots and choose different colors.
Also using the actual popViewer doesn’t allow to use “clearly” the Geometry Viewer panel because every popViewer geos are displayed in it from -1000;1000 xyz :
But I think that it won’t be a problem anymore when it will be “operator built-in”
Maybe it’s “too much” but what if the display parameters are in a seperate page or in the common one ? For me it seems to much but if we want to visualize, add or remove Attribute Dots for example, it could be way easier than the right click menu inside of the Active operator
Thanks for the feedback. We’re planning on a lot more configuration options for the overlays, but that likely won’t be until the next major release (after this 2025.30000 series) because it relies on a new settings system and some new UI that aren’t ready yet.
