Hi, I have some dynamically changing CHOPs that I am using Filter CHOPs on to smooth value changes. The filters are in Box mode. I am noticing that when i click around the network or even move the pointer over different operators that all the filter CHOPs are introducing spikes to the values that are not seen before them in the data flow. I recorded a small video showing what is happening. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing it? The data values are coming from a Kinect Azure, but I am not seeing the spikes in the data until the Filter CHOPs

Hi @retone,
can you create a reproducible case and upload here?
can this be repeated when adding a Hog CHOP and dropping more frames?
if you attach a Info CHOP to any of the operators that are inputs to the filter, can you see if the number of samples of the CHOPs change at the same time as the value change in the Filter CHOP occur?
can this be repeated when using a different input then a Kinect Azure CHOP?
What is your TouchDesigner build and OS?
cheers
Markus
Hi - it looks like it was related to having Kinect Azure running over USB while also a couple of other USB sensors over serial. I have swapped the system out to a Femto Mega to run over ethernet and the two other sensors to user Ethernet controllers which has resolved the issue. I was able to see visible glitching on the Kinect Azure color camera when the spikes were happening which indicated that there may be something in that area causing problems
