messin with this filter setting.
I can’t find any ref in the forums or docs.
Is it brand new ?
I am assuming this is some sort of interpolation that will preserve or create continuity between samples ?

Hi.
Ramp Preserve is a pretty simple filter that simply tries to straighten any crooked ramps.
Its somewhat experimental and very limited in that it expects the incoming ramp to climb linearly and start at zero.
Its main function was to straighten out default timing ramps sent through other processes.
You may be able to test it out by feeding it a slow, tall LFO CHOP, which you perturb with a Noise CHOP. Hopefully the ‘Ramp Preserve’ will regenerate the LFO ramp again.
Cheers,
Rob.
