Fine-Tuning Stoner Points

Hi…

We have a series of 6 projects that we are using the Stoner Component for, and it’s working very well. We have 6 curved screens, each at approx. a 28 degree convex curve… I’ve managed to use Stoner to get this pretty tight, vis a vis the curved surface, and vis a vis the adjoining images, but no matter how high I refine the rows and columns, there is only so much manual dexterity I can achieve with a mouse…

So, I am wondering if there is any way to refine the uv points within the Stoner panels, either directly or by referencing a text file… have poked around a little bit and haven’t seen anything super obvious…

Let me know, thanks.

J

Hey Jesse,

you could fine tune the positions manually by adding in offsets to the values in /stoner/grid after the select1 CHOP. The channels in that CHOP are practically xy position pairs, so the channel sliderv1 is the x position of the first button and sliderv2 the y position. I would suggest using either Constant CHOPs or a Animation COMP to refine the values…

Hope that helps
Markus

Cool, I’ll give that a shot… thx!
