Click in the parameter name, type in something
Press the tab key
Result: TD hangs, need to force-quit
Works fine in 2023.12370

Nope, Alienware Aurora R18 desktop with a discreet 4090 RTX.

Hey, I’m able to reproduce this only if I hit tab an then delete. Does that follow your experience?
I thought this was GPU related, but it is not.

No, all I had to do is enter a name and hit tab. The UI became completely unresponsive not just slow. Hitting the close box would cause Windows to give its app not responding message and offer of sacrifice.

Unfortunately I’m on vacation for a couple of weeks but I’ll test it on my MacBook and see what happens.

Ok, on my MacBook can’t reproduce a hang but can reproduce a crash.

  1. Open TD with defaut project
  2. click in search, type “base” click on comp tab, click “base” click to place
  3. Right-click on base, select customize component
  4. Click in “Par Name” type “seed” then

Does it crash when you hit the ‘d’ in ‘seed’, or do you press ‘enter’ or ‘tab’ after that?
