FIXED: 24520 /extract does not work

The patchnotes state that /extract has been reimplemented, but when calling the installer with the extract command it will only start the installer and install Touch to the default touchdesigner directory, instead of extracting it in the place of the installer/dir

according to Markus’s post /Extract should be with a capital E:

/Extract extract the TouchDesigner files to a folder in parallel of the installer if /DIR is not specified
/Extract=full includes the extra files like redistributables and the codemeter software.

Yeah, the patch notes say the same and I tried both, (capital and lowercase) with the same result of it installing touch to the default C:/Program Files/Derivative/TOuchdesigner.xxx version.

It seems to do the trick to just copy the install folder and im good to go, but never the less

Hm, trying this on my machine results in the correct location:

@alphamoonbase - we found it - it’s happening when you try to extract a version that is already installed - working on a fix…
