FIXED: Container COMPs layout/render issues latest builds (2025.33070 and 2025.32820)

Hey,

Running into some problems with Container COMPs on the latest builds (2025.33070 and 2025.32820) on Windows 11.

The Issues:

  • Containers using layout anchors or fill aren’t sizing or arranging correctly in alignment with parent’s ‘Children’ settings.

  • Binding / referencing X/Y parameters to CHOPs fails to actually move the container.

  • Containers frequently just don’t render/display at all

  • Toggling Display often causes break and makes the container disappear or misalignment. Sometimes restarting the project or switching a container’s ‘Display’ OFF/ON fixes the layout/transforms temporarily).

  • Opening projects within build version 32460 seems to solve these issues.

Anyone else seeing this?

Can you send a file to support@derivative.ca that was working in a previous build?
Thanks very much.

I am also experiencing a similar issue. For me I have narrowed it down to files built in .32460 cause containers to bug out on .32820 and .33070.

I have attached part of a stripped out project file that experiences this issue, and a video of it working fine on .32460 and bugging on .33070

ContainerLayoutBug.toe (12.0 KB)
.32460 Video (no bugs)
.33070 Video

Amazing, thank you!

Awesome, thank you for looking into it!

Okay we have a potential fix, but if you would like to email support@derivative.ca we can take next steps to see if it fixes your specific cases.
Cheers,
Rob.
