FIXED: Luma Blur on Mac works differently

Hi, I had an issue with Luma Blur TOP on Mac and found even the operator snippet doesn’t work as same as one on Windows. Is there any way I can fix this? My Mac is old, though.

turns out its because of the system problem
Luma blur isnt really work in Mac.
You might need to use another way to do luma blur.

Thanks for the report. Seems like a GLSL bug on macOS, I’ve worked around the bug by tweaking the shader a bit.

Have there been any updates or work arounds for the lumablur bug on MacOS?

Would be nice if also mac users could use this nice top in the future.

yeah, for me, it still behaves the way chimanaco illustrated in his/her post. What’s your fix? :wink:

We fixed the bug in builds from last year. What build of TouchDesigner are you using? Could you screengrab and tell us your mac specs under “About this Mac”?
