FIXED: MouseIn CHOP isn't working (MBP 16)

Hi! Wondering if anyone has encountered this issue where a MouseIn CHOP does not track any coordinates. This occurs in empty projects where I drop a mousein node. I have tried trackpad and bluetooth mouse. I’m running the latest stable build on a 2019 MBP 16" running Catalina.

FIXED: Mousein Chop not Responding to Mouse Cursor

When I was trying to follow through a basic tutorial I found that the Mouse In Chop do not respond to the movement of the mouse cursor. All of the parameters are in default set up, and the ‘Active’ parameter is ‘On’. Other functions of TD on my laptop seem to be working fine. Has anyone else met this problem before? I am using macOS Mojave 10.14, and Touchdesigner 099 2019.16600 Thanks!

Here the solution was downgrading versions. I’ve tried that version and my MouseIn still doesn’t work.

Yeah, this is a very odd and elusive bug we’ve had no luck in fixing over the years. It is seemingly random that some Macbooks just do not talk to the Mouse In CHOP. We see it in about 10% of Macbooks at workshops and schools, there seems to be no consistent version or specs that we can trace it to. I wish I had more promising news. A list of your specs would be helpful for us to know, but we can’t fix it until we can reproduce it on one of our machines.

This was fixed as of Build 2022.32120 - Feb 09, 2023 so any build released after that should have Mouse In CHOP working correctly on all macOS systems.
