FIXED: Multichannel Audio bug (2019.18360 and earlier 9-18ch

Audio File In CHOP and Movie File In TOP → Audio Movie: Crashes or shows empty channels when opening multichannel audio files with {9, 10, …, 18} channels.

Tested on Windows on 2019.18360 and 2019.13330 with PCM audio in .wav and .aif containers and with Hap .mov files with the same audio.

Seems to be related to “2018.27840 MovieFileOutTOP max 8 audio channels”: [url]FIXED: 2018.27840 MovieFileOutTOP max 8 audio channels - Bugs - TouchDesigner forum. I managed to reproduce that. Also tried to output more than 18 channels, which also did not work.

Thanks for the report, we do have this logged as an RFE for the future but now definitive timeline right now.

I’ll let you know when support has been added.

This crash will be fixed in builds 2019.18860 and later. Thanks for the report.
