FIXED: Plugging Null into OSC Out crashes TD

This is with the new 2020 version. My program kept crashing repeatedly and I slowly saved different versions until I nailed it to the troublemaker: OSC OUT CHOP. I duplicated this error on a fresh copy of TD as well.

If I plug a constant chop into the OSC out chop, it works fine. But if I plug a null or something else where no value is there yet, it crashes my system.

It looks to only freeze when no value is being sent to the OSC OUT CHOP. A workaround until it’s fixed is simply to add a constant chop with a dummy variable/value to a merge chop to the OSC out. Then whatever real data can plug into the merge chop.

Thanks for the info, this crash is now fixed and will be in the next 2020.20000 series released build.
