I’m not able to reproduce this with any of the FBX files I have. If possible, could you email your specific FBX file to support@derivative.ca? If it’s too large you could instead send a Dropbox link.

yep, I can reproduce this with the supplied T-rex FBX, and also several of my FBX models (not all)

For me it only happens when I drag some FBX files to the network, not when I do File->Import
here’s another fbx I found which also gets a torus upon drag-import:

From what I can tell this only occurs for drag drop. That issue has been fixed and it’ll be in the next official: 2018.23440+

This fix missed the build window and will actually be found in 2018.23450+
