Flow emitter COMP - Collider feature


Any clues on how does the new ‘collider’ function in the Flow emitter COMP work?

according to the description the ‘Collider will act as a rigid object which the combustion simulation will collide with.’
However, as soon I switch the ‘Mode’ parameter from Emitter to Collider, the combustion simulation disappear. so I guess I am doing something wrong or the operator requires the presence of other specific operators in the network.

Can anyone point me a starting point to make this function work?

next to the existing emitter in your project, you’ll need to add another Nvidia Flow Emitter COMP, and set its mode to collider. See quick example of smoke colliding with a box:
