Hi guys,
Is there a way to freeze an LFO Value when a chop value is 0?
I was thinking to export the chop to the lock flag of the LFO but apparently it’s not possible.

i dont have a pc near me… but i am confident it can be done with “logic” node and some tweaking … hmmm
If your button is a toggle type, you could use the button to drive the “play” parameter of the LFO. That would have the effect of stopping the LFO from animating and freezing your value.

This works perfectly for me. Simple too. Is this what you are looking for? It does hold value on 0

Amazing! This works
What if I want to achieve the same but instead of freezing the LFO it just freezes the value of another chop? For instance the value of a slider??
Thank you so much! This works too!
Any idea how to achieve the same but instead of freezing the value of an LFO, freezing the value of a general CHOP?
I’ve tried to use logic as you mentioned earlier but can’t figure it out how to make it works
Slider value is already static…i am not sure what you mean…
Yes it is static if I don’t move it! I’ll would like to be able to change the value of the slider manually but only when the Button Value is 0, if the button value is 1 I would like the to freeze the slider’s value.
If you are wondering why I’m trying to do this:
I’m trying to send signals to my Modular Synths from TD through a USB Midi Module. The Button Value is sending Gate signals while the Slider is sending CV (Pitch), the issue is that if I change the CV when the Gate is open the Midi Module kind of crash and the Gate will always remains ON even on Value 0. Hence why I need to send CV only when the Gate is OFF!
Hope it makes sense

Something like this??? I love that you experimenting with modular synths. NICE! I am a musician too…have been playing synths since 2013.
YESS!! This is perfect! Thanks mate!!
