definitely a fresh fish!
i am about to bootcamp my Mac and was wondering how many GB should i partition to run Derivative. I am truly a beginner at the software so for now i will just be “playing” around with it and not doing anything heavy.
also as i will be running TouchDesgner with a Mac, is there a Windows OS that is better than another?
How much size you need is entirely up to you and how many other programs you will be running on that partition. I have found Windows 7 alone takes up to 20GB and that is what Microsoft calls for in system requirements. I wouldn’t go with less than 30GB, more if you can afford it. External drives are an option for running your TouchDesigner projects and associated media.
