Generating Mycelium network from one center point

Hi there,

I’m working on an installation that’ll be projected onto something (most likely the floor) that’ll visualize the mycelium network beneath our feet. I want to generate a mycelium kind of network starting from one circle in the middle where visitors can stand. The network will grow from there, and then stop once in a while to display information, and then continue growing until the end of the installation. I’m still a bit new to TouchDesigner and I’ve seen a lot of tutorials about mycelium growing kind of networks, but none of them start from a center point. I’ve tried a few things with a Circle SOP and a Line SOP connecting to a Copy SOP that connects to a Noise SOP, but that was not successful. I have no clue how else to start this, so if anyone has any suggestions or ways to go about this would be very helpful, thanks!

Hey, maybe check out some Physarum network toxes

and maybe can use Claude to convert this p5.js script to a GLSL shader:
