Hi, I’ve been working with an fbx file that I’ve exported from a motion tracking system. I’m at the point of rendering the project, however am having trouble with getting the camera to keep the object in frame, like how the geometry viewer always has the geometry in the center of it’s frame. I’ve tried putting the geo in the camera Look At parameter but the object still leaves the frame. Here’s a screenshot, any suggestions? Thank you!
Hi @adellelin,
the Adaptive Homing function of the viewport is a function between bounding box and center of the geometry. The bigger the bounding box, the more the camera is moved away from the object. The center of geometry will determine the transform of the camera.
There is a method for the Geometry COMP that let’s you retrieve all necessary elements of the bounding box: min, max, center, and size.
Hope this helps
