GPU memory leak with annotate

Had a weird problem in my project this week,

I did prepare an art interactive installation storing video en replaying in many ways,

did stream the process tho and did a little clip to show the big problem :

ok I figured out the problem but took me abit of time, had big memory leak when I zoom on node, leading crashes, , I didnt understand at first, checked all my caches and stuff and I was like wtf is happening my touch is broken, And I manage to find the source, annotate with an opacity below 100 create the bug,

memory leak appears even if the viewer node is inactive, So I feel we cannot use opacity on the annotate, I feel its very bad tho, I like to use is to dose the chroma key in my obs screen capture to easer the visual backdrop depending or where I am in the code u know, but cannot use it that way atm,

Im abit late for the update I need to do more money, my TD skills doesnt get me that much money lol but it happens u know,

my version is : 2025.30960

Ok the project Im doing is about “how people use their voices to speak up in our democraties and get involved” so I figured out I was straight in the topic going on the forum to talk about my issue LOL,

I need to do it more tho, I got plenty of feedback and ideas on how to upgrade the software (in my perspective ofc and how I use it ofc)

I’m sure u’ll love to hear it lol

Thanks for the report!
We are having a clook.
Cheers

So Im having trouble reproducing this issue with both your version and the latest version of TouchDesigner. It might not be Annotate opacity as the cause, but just a symptom.
Can you make sure your graphics drivers are up to date, and see if you can reproduce on a simpler toe file to start?
You can also use a non-commercial license to test if the toe file works as expected on the lastest version of the software.
Thanks for your support.
