You can encode Hap Q inside of TouchDesigner without any external plugin.
Edit: The link to the public available Quicktime plugin is available in the next post.

The public version of the HAP For Windows Quicktime plugin is now available here:
github.com/vidvox/hap-qt-codec/releases/

You don’t need this installed for TD to support HAP though.

I am able to encode a video in HAP Q but when I bring the movie back into TD there is an error and won’t play the file … What am I missing here ?

How did you encode it? I just found that the latest experimental doesn’t encode HAP correctly.

Ah, ok - I’m on build 21300, so that may indeed be the case.

Ya, that’s the one. You can avoid the bug by setting TOUCH_CHUNKED_HAP=1 as an environment variable.
