Hello,
I’m new to Touch Designer and this is actually my first project. I want to play a video file and have the first LED strip to change dynamically with the movie, then I want a second strip to have show a static color. I have no clue where to start, anything would be helpful. Thank you.
I am using Entec DMX Pro MK2 as the DMX output

To get started you might start by first making sure that you can communicate with your leds. Make sure you understand how addressing and communicating with them can work:
Can you control all of them with a single value? for example, can you make them all red
Can you address them individually?
Once you’ve sorted out how communication works, then dig into how you want to use information from the movie file to change your colors.
